Our Story
A legacy written in our classrooms.
Founded in 1949 as a public registered teachers training college, St. Augustine TTC - Eregi has grown into one of Kenya's most trusted institutions for primary and early childhood teacher education.
Across seventy-seven years our graduates have led classrooms in every county — from urban academies in Nairobi to village schools deep in the Rift Valley. Today, three diploma programs and a faculty of practising educators carry that tradition forward.

Welcome to St. Augustine Teachers Training College - Eregi. For 77 years, we have been shaping the educators who transform Kenya's schools. Here, learning extends beyond the classroom—students develop academic excellence, character, and the commitment needed to be effective teachers.
